I hope you have all had a good start to the New Year. I know there is still snow on the ground and most people aren’t even thinking about baseball but we are not far off from the start of another season. In saying that we have reserved some field time at Home Run Sports Training Centre, 905 King Edward Street, on February 15, 2016 for a MB Summer Games Camp. The camp will run from 2 till 4 PM and is open to anyone in the Interlake Region who meets the Manitoba Summer Games criteria for baseball. Information and forms can be found on the Baseball Manitoba Website if you have not attended any of our other camps (http://www.baseballmanitoba.ca/manitoba_summer_games.php) . Please bring all your baseball gear including helmets and a pair of indoor shoes (no cleats) to wear in the facility.
As we do have to cover the cost of the facility rental there will be a fee for the camp. The cost of the camp will be determined by the number of players that show up but will be no more than $20 per player.
Please reply to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible advising us if you will be attending the camp on February 15 so we can plan for the size of group that we will have.
Congratulations to the 2015 Pee Wee team for winning the 2015 Provincial AA Championship in Hamiota, July 17-19, 2015.
